AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing in San Diego
Advanced Dog Training & CGC Testing
We are approved to provide training and testing for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program. Our group classes align with the test criteria to help prepare you and your dog for the test, and we can administer the test when you’re ready. Our Behavior Building Blocks class series is a great place to start, and you’ll cover all of the test criteria in levels 1 and 2.
Therapy Dog Preparation
Many therapy dog programs in San Diego and in other locations require their participants to pass a Canine Good Citizen test in order to apply to be part of the program. Contact the therapy dog organization you’d like to work with, and learn about their requirements. We can help you prepare your dog to work in the community as a therapy dog by providing the education and testing they will need prior to entering a volunteer program.
